I did the research before buying this pump and it was worth it. The pump and it's back up are both very silent and powerful. It only runs for about 10 seconds and all the water is pumped out. I'd recommend it to anyone

Initial pump had an issue with the back up pump...

Initial pump had an issue with the back up pump not shutting off and quit working. Ordered another combination pump from H.D. Received that and found that the issue was actually with the control panel in the lid of the battery box. Changed out lid and it ran fine. 2nd unit returned for refund.

This is the second one of these I've purchased. I bought the original version in 2018 (2 years ago) for myself, and this upgraded one in 2020 for my mother. Installation was a breeze, and everything just works. I prefer to use the Duracell SLI27MAGMDC battery with this unit.

The Wayne combo pump was easy to install, has plenty of power, and is so quiet that after installing I had to check it a few times to make sure it was working. It is so nice to have silence. I recommend adding a no knock check valve also.

The only problem so far is with the way they wasted an inch between the 2 sump pumps. If they would have made it adjustable, or put the 2 pumps closer together by about 3/4 of an inch, it would fit perfectly in a 15" sump opening. There is also extremely bad information given out by the company and its distributors. They say it will fit in an 18" sump will, but it won't when the sides slant inward. By the time you get to the bottom of the well, its only 15". Once I removed their limitations (the Y connector), and put the 2 pumps within 1/4" of each other, the entire unit worked perfectly. The folks I talked to at Wayne couldn't understand that limitation. Its a great unit overall. Its just the problem with wasting space and limiting its usage to wells that are bigger. ALSO...NOTE: changing it so the 2 sump pumps are closer together Does Not Kill The Warranty! Its OK to make the adjustment I discussed, Just Don't Disconnect The Metal Handle.

Only gave it 3 stars they say it will fit in a 15” basin but it doesn’t so I had to return it. it’s a great set up if it will fit . it also needs 2 separate 15amp outlets

When returning an item, it must be in all of the original packaging and include all of the original accessories or items that came with it. The item and package should be in original and perfect condition. You will be required to cover shipping on the return of non-defective items.
