HISTORY
Aurora is an Italian manufacturer of fountain pens, writing instruments, paper and leather goods.
The company was founded in 1919 in Turin, with headquarters in via della Basilica 9, by Isaia Levi, a wealthy textile merchant.
During the Second World War, the site was heavily damaged by bombing.
After the war Aurora moved its factory to the northern gates of the city, near the Abbey of Stura, where it still continues to produce pens internally according to its long tradition of craftsmanship.
The plant can be visited, thanks to the collaboration with Turismo Torino.
